Safety and Health training is required by the Occupational Safety and Health Administration's Code of Federal Regulations, as most employers know. Each employer must train its personnel in the hazards and prevention methods for the tasks they will be performing in their organization. Just meeting the mandatory training requirements is the minimum required by law.
Training is more than delivering a message. As the employer, you have verify understanding of the requirements and audit the field against the requirements set forth to verify their knowledge of the training provided. Anyone can deliver a message to a group of employees, but it takes a knowledgeable person and proficient adult educator to deliver the message in a manner comprehensible to the worker group.
